Manufacturing/ Process Engineer

A mid-sized Medical Device firm in the Kalamazoo, MI area has an immediate opening for an experienced Machining Engineer.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring a smooth process flow throughout the facility. They will be seeing a product from blue print through production. This individual will be working closely with the engineers as well as the CNC programmers and operators.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a precision machining environment.
• Machining background (CNC mills, Lathes, and wire EDMs)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Properly interpret and apply Geometric Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to design fixtures and tooling, preferably using solidworks.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience working with stainless steel.
• Medical Device experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.

Standard work week is M-F 7:30am-4:30pm. Occasional overtime may be required.
