Our client, a bank in Tigard Oregon is seeking a Home Lending Post Closing member to join their team.

Job Description:

  • Tracks original Notes and provides daily updates to Shipping and Secondary Market departments.
  • Tracks, obtains, reviews and uploads Final HUD-1 Settlement Statements for all loans closed in the Fulfillment Center.
  • Works with the Escrow Company, Closing Department and/or Accounting to facilitate tolerance cures in order to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Completes FHA insuring, VA and USDA guaranteeing to ensure loan salability on the secondary market.
  • Tracks, obtains, reviews and uploads all Recorded Deeds of Trust and Final Title Policies for all loans closed in the Fulfillment Center.
  • Tracks and obtain any post-closing file corrections for loans closed in the Fulfillment Center.
  • Actively learns, demonstrates and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.
  • Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. Embraces our vision to become "The World's Greatest Bank".
  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Requires administrative experience, ability to read, write and speak English; basic arithmetic skills, knowledge of operational procedures, practices and policies.
  • Ability to use office software, (i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) and equipment. Requires a high school diploma, vocational training or equivalent.
  • Requires knowledge of mortgage banking, emphasizing loan program requirements (i.e., insurance, guarantee, security instruments, disclosures and legal requirements).
  • Previous loan closing or post closing experience is a MUST HAVE.
  • Ability to demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and apply to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.

  • Must be able to keep up to date on regulatory changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations and completes all required, annual required or job-specific training.
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Work involves sitting, occasional walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Requires close visual acuity. Normal office environment
