About this job
The Logistics Analyst provides statistical support and maintains databases for logistics/transportation planning systems, productivity measuring systems and task scheduling. The individual manages multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize them in accordance with the challenges of a rapidly changing retail environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Logistics Analyst Manages, Monitors and Maintains:
Daily system reporting performance reporting
Maintenance schedule communication to the user group
Daily report production monitoring
Issue log maintenance and follow up
Project timelines, flow charts and milestone publication
Process requests for new reports
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strong organizational, administrative, communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access and Word)
Ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of mainframe applications needed to support department
Strong Team player
Flexible for a constantly changing environment
Ability to work independently
Must be customer oriented
Strong coaching skills
Strong written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Visio capability helpful
Project management skills helpful
Experience
1-2 years Transportation, Logistics, Distribution, or Supply Chain Experience
Education / Training
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
