About this job
The client is a small run fastener (pierce nuts) producer. Candidate will be loading sheetmetal spools (up to 72lbs) onto an automated press line throughout the day. There is an operator that will start the machine.
Once the parts run through, the candidate will then check the quality of the parts. The candidate will be required to use measuring tools, such as: micrometers, calipers, and scales.
50% of the day is loading the sheet metal into the machine and waiting until each spool runs out to then load another
40% of the day is checking the quality of the parts
10% is the two 15 minute breaks and half hour paid lunch
