Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
The Pharmacist- Specialty Product Management is responsible for supporting the Director of Payor Contracts to drive Specialty business initiatives. This position requires a health care background, preferably in the health plan or PBM segments. The successful candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and be able to work cross functionally with various departments to support business goals.
As a Pharmacist- Specialty Product Management you will be able to:
* Assist with coordination of RFP and performance guarantee requests.
* Support client specific reporting and tracking of contractual requirements.
* Assist with developing payor strategies to drive growth.
* Help drive internal product development and improvement relative to payor needs.
* Analysis and tracking of various business initiatives (e.g. 340b, Med D formulary)
* Assist with overseeing Residency program for Specialty Pharmacy. Required Qualifications:
* 9+ years health care/PBM experience or other related health care field.
* Must be a licensed pharmacist Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong critical thinking skills; business acumen; ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects concurrently.
* Specialty Pharmacy experience. Education:
* Bachelors in Pharmacy
* Pharm D preferred Business Overview:
