POSITION PURPOSE
The Merchandising Execution Team (MET) Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) is responsible for driving theexecution of HR initiatives in the areas of organizational effectiveness, diversity, learning, performance management, associate engagement, and HR communications. RHRMs operate as business partners to field MET leaders. RHRMs work closely with the Merchandising Execution Regional Managers (MERMs)) to support the execution of HR programs and processes within multiple regions. This position reports to the MET Field HR Director.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
-Managing the execution of HR programs/processes in the areas of: organizational effectiveness, diversity, performancemanagement, learning, associate engagement, and HR communications.
- Providing HR support and guidance in selecting, developing, and managing the performance of MERMs, DEMs MEMs, MET Supervisors and hourly MET associates.
- Ensuring HR initiatives and processes are executed consistently.
- Driving associate engagement through recognition and reward programs, HR communications, and town hall meetings.
- Ensuring excellent associate relations practices.
- Determining training needs and assisting in the development, implementation, and delivery of training programs.
- Analyzing reports to evaluate HR operations for an assigned Region.

Reports to MET Field HR Director

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Age: 18 Must pass drug and background tests. Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.

EDUCATION REQUIRED The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE -5 PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field. - 7 years progressive HR generalist experience, union avoidance, affirmative action, EEOC and government compliance experience. - Experience working in retail merchandising service industry or working directly for large-scale retailer with multi-location responsibility.
