This position is graded as Exempt level 8 or L9. The selected candidate will be placed at the job level that is commensurate with prior experience and technical competency.

The Trade Spend Associate Manager is responsible for managing the accounting for all activities related to DSD (Direct Store Delivery) sales promotions for Frito-Lay US (FLUS), including billbacks, point of sale displays, and growth rebates. This position works directly with the Finance Teams to develop customer contracts and ensure compliance with all trade spend policies and controls. Candidate for this position must have a solid accounting background, along with ability to understand legacy systems and provide hands-on guidance, insight, and testing of future system changes/implementations. This position manages 2 direct reports, as well as, provides oversight to a third party outsourced team, which performs transaction processing work related to trade spend.

Key Responsibilities include:

*Manage Retail processes performed by third party provider to ensure performance against defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

*Serve as primary contact with third party provider and assist in training new team members as needed.

*Perform Desk Audits on a monthly basis of the claims processed by the provider.

*Lead Retail customer contract process, partnering with Finance, Legal, and Sales organization.

*Ensure compliance with Trade Spend policies and controls.

*Drive system design decisions to meet business and system changes.

*Provide ad hoc reporting.

*Manage 2 employees, including coaching and performance development activities.

*Bachelor's degree in Accounting

*4+ years accounting experience

*Big 4 experience preferred

*CPA or CPA candidate preferred

*Strong analytical skills

*Strong organizational skills

*Advanced Excel skills

*Strong interpersonal skills

*People leadership skills
