As part of this group, you will predominantly be involved in architecting and designing data warehouse solutions. You will be a primary contributor in developing, testing and deploying key data warehouses, data marts and will be working with cutting edge technology. This role will prepare you for significant career growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements


• Develop technical specifications and design documents


• Develop, enhance, and integrate Data Warehouses/Data Marts and Business Intelligence Solutions


• Lead business analysis for requested solutions


• Research and provide recommendations for solutions to stakeholders


• Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them


• Use advanced statistical and inferential analysis programs to provide specialized data analysis


• Organize, sort, and filter data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends


• Develop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support data mining


• Select, recommend and apply appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives


• Create data warehouses/marts and/or develops data mining analyses to support business decisions


• Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues


• Solve complex problems and develops innovative solutions


• Perform complex conceptual analyses


• Develop Technical Specifications/Design Documents


• Develop/Enhance/Integrate Data Warehouses/Data Marts and Business Intelligence Solutions


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and assistance as applicable


• Monitor and track their work to ensure appropriate reporting according to the contract


• Ensure that all identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed as applicable to the Report Development Lab


• Participate in the change control process


• Produce work products according to the priorities set by management

Required Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of Business Analysis Experience


• 2+ Years' experience with Ad hoc / BI tools such as Business Objects or Cognos (Requirements gathering, Report development and developing technical specifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background with the use of Government Health Care data (Claim, Provider, and Beneficiary) data or commercial health care data highly preferred.


• Experience specific to Arkansas Medicaid programs, including but not limited to Private Option and Program Integrity
