The Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation is a not for profit corporation that exists to provide medical services, research and education. The foundation provides the infrastructure for the delivery of physician services, and contracts with a separate corporation comprised of physicians and other care providers to deliver the clinical services. This multi-specialty foundation will provide a platform from which new physicians can be recruited to continue to provide physician services in a nonprofit, community setting. The Foundation's vision is to create a medical group that will deliver high quality, market competitive medical services.

As part of the Diagnostic Imaging Team, the Radiologic technologist performs all x-ray procedures requested by providers. The position requires acquisition of high quality images, maintain data for quality management, excellent customer service skills and the exercise of mature and independent judgment. This position closely adheres to the SEBMF mission by enhancing the health, wellness and quality of life in the communities

Education: Successful completion of AMA Accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Must be registered by the ARRT. Other certification may be required if department develops in other modalities.

Experience: Clinical and practical experience during Radiologic Technology Training is essential. At least one year of work experience is required.

Knowledge: Ability to perform Radiologic examinations of excellent technical quality, in an efficient manner. Knowledge of Radiologic Instrumentation operation and quality control procedures is necessary.

License, certification, and/or registration: Registered by ARRT, CRT, BLS certification is required. Must maintain licenses and certifications.

Special Skills and/or Equipment Used:

Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Knowledge of departmental computer systems operations is essential. ( EPIC programs, including Radiant, PACS)
