Part-Time Forklift Operator (All Shifts)

Our talented warehouse team members are known for their high standards of productivity, attention to detail, and valuable team partnerships to achieve the best results. As a member of our Warehouse Team, you would have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced distribution technology systems and processes.

Our Part-Time Forklift Operators receive GFS goods onto receiving dock from delivery trucks and transfer to receiving area. Place received pallets onto inbound pallet spur. Ensure pallets being placed onto spur meet GFS system requirements.

Specifically, Forklift Operators:
*Uses forklift and pallet machine to transfer product from bad wood to good wood.
*Uses forklift to insert pallets into the pallet system.
*Uses forklift to sort all empty pallets from the system and place in designated areas.
*Removes damaged product from pallets during the tipping process.
*Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.
*The Forklift Operator will perform other duties as assigned.


Available Shifts:
We currenlty have the following shifts available (schedule subject to change upon business needs):
1st Shift:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Sunday, Thursday, Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
2nd Shift:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
3rd Shift:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Thursday, Friday, Sunday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Tuesday, Wenesday, Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Key qualifications and requirements for this position include:
*High School Diploma or equivalent GED degree (preferred).
*Prior warehouse and forklift driving experience (highly preferred).
*Powered Industrial Truck Operator training and certification must be completed upon hire and maintained thereafter.
*Ability to operate a stand up forklift and hydraulic pallet tipper.
*Must be able to communicate clearly in a professional manner.
*Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
*Work independently and/or within a team environment.
*Must pass a Physical Abilities test.
*Successfully complete our drug screen (hair drug test) and background check requirements.
*Completion of two assessments within 7 days of receiving the assessment e-mail is required in order to be considered.
