System Engineer Intern for our
OSS group. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
The ideal intern candidate will have strong scripting, system administration and networking skills. The position entails the support of a large-scale production and development OSS infrastructure that is used to support Navisite ' s service provider infrastructure, applications, and databases
Job Requirements:
Good written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter and fast learnerAdministration knowledge in RHEL
Must be able to produce high quality scripts (Perl, Shell, and/or Python) and SQL queries.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Experience in NAS and SAN architectures is plus (EMC VNX, NetApp, Brocade,…)Relational database knowledge including SQL
Education and Experience:
Must be currently enrolled in a degreed program in the Spring 2015 semester to be eligible. Summer Internship. This is a full time (40 hour work week) paid internship. Please note we do not provide housing.
