Machine Operators

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Machine Operators.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Looking for Machine Operators who would love to work for a growing company with full-time swing shift hours (2:45 pm - 11:15 pm) Monday through Friday. SUMMARY: Takes sheets of plastic parts and assists in the production process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include all of the following. -Must be able to identify bad paper / plastic and to resolve possible issue(s) of machine operation which affect proper function and performance of machines -Must be able to do paper cutting and pulling -Must be able to understand and identify different plastic types -Must be able to change out machine consumables so as to keep machine operating in accordance with machine specifications and company operational expectations -Must be able to understand machine operating parameters, identify when machine is not operating within expected parameters, and make adjustments to machine so that the machine operates in accordance with specifications -Must be able to identify when machine(s) is producing parts that do not meet specifications and stop production -Must be able either to stand or otherwise maintain position in one spot for extended periods of time -Must be able to start up, shut down, and operate machine efficiently and safely. Clear jams, load and unload machines, and make minor adjustments when necessary or directed to by supervisor or others in charge. -Able to perform visual and dimensional quality checks for each operation according to the control plans and work instructions -Able to perform visual and dimensional quality checks for each operation according to the control plans and work instructions Job Requirements: - One of more years prior experience with process printing -A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to get along well with other people. -Mechanically inclined. -Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions and basic math. -Careful attention to detail and a high expectation for quality and productivity. -Track record for running jobs with minimal waste. -Follow all safety policies and procedures -Keep work areas clean and in order. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Less than completed high school education; or at least one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: -Ability to read and comprehend company Safety Policy manual. -Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. -Ability to write correspondence. -Ability to prepare and attach shipping tags; complete and record items processed as required. -Basic ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization in a one-on-one or small group situations.
