Sodexo is seeking a Temporary Clinical Dietitian for Flushing Hospital. Responsibilities include providing nutritional care to the acute care patients. Ideal candidate will be a Registered Dietitian or eligible for RD certification. This is a temporary full-time dietitian position lasting up to 1 year with the potential to become permanent.

Flushing Hospital is a 325 bed community teaching hospital. The hospital has an ICU/CCU/SICU, Med/Surg, Peds, Detox, Psych, Telemetry, Labor and Delivery, TCU, Hospice and multiple community functions.
Position Summary
Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 years work experience in health care including
hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term
care, retirement homes, or clinics, m eets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
