The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.

Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Marketing and Channel Partnerships team supports Consumer Financial Services (credit card, personal lines and loans, direct auto loans, fee-based services and rewards programs) and Education Financial Services (EFS-student loans) with compelling cross-channel marketing and sales strategies and program execution to drive profitable growth.This marketing leader will own and support Offers & Promotions strategy development for Wells Fargo Credit Card acquisitions marketing across various sales channels.

They will shape the marketing strategy roadmap to attract new customers through compelling card offers and promotions and deliver business growth. He/she will lead development of new business proposals for strategy rollout and testing, gain stakeholder buy-in and deliver the strategy in market, in partnership with cross-functional teams across the matrix organization. The leader will identify strategic opportunities based on competitive landscape analysis and prior test insights. He/she will bring Card marketing skills, strategic leadership, analytical problem solving and people skills to deliver amazing results. This is a highly visible position which is critical to the success of launch of new offers / promotion strategies and rollout of successful tests for Wells Fargo Card Acquisitions. Recently, this position has been instrumental in testing and rolling out several new initiatives such as Activation bonus offers, 15/18 month balance transfer promotion and 5x Accelerated rewards.

Specific focus areas for the role include:

* Develop shared roadmap on Offers & Promotions strategy: Assess potential new acquisition strategies for testing and rollout across both targeted campaigns and broad base sales channels. Partner cross-functionally, develop calendar plans and influence stakeholders on prioritization.

* Deliver business cases / proposals on new initiatives: Plan end-to-end for prioritized strategies, develop business cases in partnership with Analytics, Product, Risk and Finance and lead review conversations to gain stakeholder approvals.

* Own intent for end-to-end implementation: For approved strategies, translate strategy into implementation action plan with campaign/execution teams, rally the support teams, track project progress and ensure successful implementation in the market.

* Measure and fine-tune strategies: Lead performance measurement of prior marketing rollouts and testing strategies and drive fine-tuning of strategies based on facts and business judgment.

* Build strong working relationships with partner teams: Proactively seek out opportunities to collaborate with and influence partner teams (Analytics, Product, Risk and Finance) with the goal to drive right marketing strategies for business. Maintain close communication on key initiatives.

6+ years marketing experience. * Recent experience in leading credit card strategies

* Understanding of customer acquisition through multiple channels such as Branch, DM, Digital

* Influencing among partners such as Product, Risk, Marketing and Finance

* Strong leadership skills, with a business-minded approach, able to move from the big picture perspective to tactical work-streams as necessary -- not afraid to roll up sleeves and get hands on

* Experience in leveraging data-driven analytical problem-solving for business decision-making

* Strength in facilitating / leading projects, overcoming obstacles and challenges (i.e., problem-solving experience) in a collaborative, matrix environment and getting results accomplished

* Solid verbal and written communication (deck-writing) and people influencing skills, demonstrated ability in presenting proposals to senior management for securing buy-in

* Proficiency in using MS Excel and PowerPoint

* Awareness of advanced analytical tools such as statistical models
