Bibibop is a new concept restaurant but owned by the same family owner as Charley's Grilled Subs. Bibibop is a new health focused fast-casual restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. Serving a unique mix of rice, quality protein and fresh vegetables. What's a Bibibop? A meal derived from the popular Asian dish, Bibimbap literally meaning mixed rice. True to its namesake, each Bibibop starts with perfectly steamed rice. Followed by a mix of your choice of grilled meats or tofu, along with a variety of fresh vegetables and Asian-inspired sauces.
We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisors and Crew. This position manages shifts of a quick service restaurant engaged in top customer service and strong staff development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prefer a high school diploma or GED
- Provide a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- Be able to work in fast paced environment, exhibit a sense of urgency and work on your feet
- Provide exceptional customer service and willing to learn the Charley's way
- Be able to lift 50 pounds to waist level and frequent bending, kneeling, lifting (25 - 50 pounds)
- Fluent English-speaking
- Have a neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Be able to learn the menu (proper ingredients, portion size and presentation)
- Work well in a team environment and understand that each position depends the other
- Ability to use general restaurant equipment (e.g. warmer, fryer, slicer, grill, etc.)
- Train and supervise crew members; monitor and reinforce food safety standards and procedures; interact with our customers; and help maintain high quality service and food
- One or more years' restaurant experience (fast food/QSR management experience preferred)
- Ability to lead and manage team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good problem solving and decision making skills
- Supervise and motivate Team Members to perform to their highest possible level of ability.
- Be able to maintain high standards of service throughout the operational day by demonstrating management by example.
- Takes initiative and always looking for improvement
