Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing
accurate and timely estimates for tasks - Provide
support and leadership in critical production support issue resolution - Support
the team for application availability, reliability and stability on a 7 by
24 by 365 basis - Conduct or
facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a
corrective action plan - Work with
team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or
exceeding Service Level Agreements - Conduct
code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high quality
standards - Work with
business to prioritize production issue resolution - Work with
the Service Manager in process improvement initiatives as directed by the
service
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of equivalent experience - 5+ years of
experience in developing application languages on IBM Systems i platform - 5+ years of
experience in Program Development Management or WebSphere IDE tool - 5+ years of
experience in Data File Utility and Screen Design Aid - 5+ years of
experience with Query/400 - 5+ years of
experience in Operations Navigator, IFS and Client Access - 5+ years of
experience in Synon programming - Experience
working with networking technologies; FTP including security and file
encryption/decryption
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience
in Java development language would be a big plus - Experience
in Java, Webservices (SOA) application development and client server
applications - Experience
in change management tools such as ALDON CMS/Implementer - Experience
in Software impact analysis tools such as Abstract/Probe or Hawkeye
