Two Rivers Behavioral Health (UHS Facility) is a 105-bed acute facility and a leading provider of behavioral health care in the Kansas City area on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. For the past 27 years the facility has provided 24-hour care for individuals in need.
We currently have a position available for a full-time Maintenance Engineer in our Plant Operations Department. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, operation and construction needs of the hospital. The Plant Engineer reports directly to the Director of Plant Operations and provides alternate coverage when Director is not on duty.

The successful candidate for this position must meet the following qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Technical training in fire prevention and alarm systems or equivalent experience and two (2) years of technical school preferred in HVAC maintenance and repair.
Experience: 2-3 years experience in plant and general maintenance and experience with fire and safety systems strongly preferred.
Knowledge: Must have working knowledge and skills in HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical
This is an hourly position. Hours may vary based on Departmental needs and may include day, evening and some weekends.
Supervision Received: Director of Plant Operations/Housekeeping/Safety and Security Officer
