Wekiva Springs Center is a 68-bed acute behavioral health hospital providing quality care in a gender-specific program for men and women . We provide treatment for mental health, addictions and dual diagnosis concerns in a warm and caring atmosphere near I-95 and J Turner Butler in Southside area. The duties for a part-time Therapist include the following:

Must complete psychosocials as assigned

Must complete Treatment Plans for new admissions

Prepare and conduct groups with inpatients regarding addictions

Document patients behavior in groups and in individual counselings

Ensure all assigned patients charts are maintained in compliance

Coordinate physician visits with the patients

Assist in discharge planning as required

Complete all other required documents as prescribed

Provide individual therapeutic intervention with patients as needed

Assist with family members as needed

Conducts psychosocials as required

Qualified candidates must have the following:

Must be a Licensed as a Mental Health Professional within the State of Florida this includes LMHC, LMFT or LCSW and is preferably certified as a Certified Addictions Professional

Have at least 1-year inpatient experience with men or women regarding addictions or dual diagnosis issues.

Must be able to manuever throughout the facility.

Must have experience in preparing and conducting therapeutic groups

Candidate must be able to complete documentation of individual and group meetings with patients and/or with their families

Must be able to complete all required psychosocials and evaluations as needed

Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, patients and family members as needed.

Must be able to work at least 20 hours each week - Monday through Friday

Must be CPR Certified
