JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Planning and Analysis Director will partner with senior Finance and Accounting leadership to oversee all Business Unit planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes; analyze cost management and savings opportunities; perform cost/benefit analysis; prepare consolidated budget, forecast, and related variance analyses. Provide strategic planning and analysis, i.e., long term capitalization plan and analysis of business strategies. Support Business Unit executive management with financial analysis.
  • Leads Division and Corporate financial planning and budgeting process, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow processes.
  • Leads and coordinates monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting at the Business Unit and Corporate level for financial consolidation purposes.
  • Participates in the strategic planning process for the business by designing, maintaining and utilizing financial models and metrics to support and analyze achievement of policy deployment and strategic actions.
  • Understands and communicates how commercial decisions impact financial results of the Business Unit and utilizes financial tools to calculate and monitor key business targets, including revenue, direct costs, indirect costs, gross margin and EBITDA as well as asset metrics including ROIC, ROACE and EVA.
  • Anticipates and identifies key variables that predict business performance and recommends process improvements based on data analysis to reduce costs, streamline work processes, and improve profitability.
  • Prepares presentations for leadership reviews as well as budget, forecast and monthly review meetings.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • BS Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent work experience at the professional level.
  • 5 or more year’s progressive experience in an accounting or controlling function within a service or facilities management environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adaptive Planning and Oracle Fusion software.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, financial consolidation systems (Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Cognos, etc.) and internal control framework.

  • Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and to manage multiple projects.

  • Ability to identify roadblocks to a process and to develop a strategy to effectively circumvent them.
  • Solutions oriented – ability to quickly assess a situation and offer alternatives with related risks and rewards.
  • Strong change agent with the ability to show the impact of change, minimize the impact and onboard effectively.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to multiple customers with competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong initiative, able to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
