Home Instead Senior Care - Southwest Allegheny and Washington Counties is seeking an enthusiastic, self-starter to join our passionate and dedicate Human Resources team in our Bethel Park office.

Our Trainer is responsible for providing excellent hands-on personal care skill training for all new CAREGivers as part of the New Hire Orientation and act as back-up for other portions of the New Hire Orientation training.  Hours for this position are Tuesdays from 8:30am-5:00pm.

ORGANIZE themselves and their tasks!
You must be able to multi-task, have energy to keep up with the pace and work independently.

Be DETAIL-ORIENTED!
Because we are in a highly regulated industry, attention to detail is a MUST!  We need someone who can consistently dot the i's and cross the t's on every employee file, data entry task and other various projects.

TAKE PRIDE IN HELPING OTHERS!
Training CAREGivers to be able to assist clients with all different types of needs is vital to the CAREGiver's success and the client's satisfaction.  We are not interested in just hiring anyone or just filling a shift; we are building relationships. It may seem small, but everything we do MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Be COMPASSIONATE but FIRM!
Yes, our business survives on building strong relationships but we are also a business. Customer service to clients, CAREGivers and co-workers needs to be stellar, but there are rules and everyone on the team must have the ability to be professional and be able to coach and educate - either in person or on the telephone.

Maintain a POSITIVE outlook!
Let's face it, sometimes working with human beings can get interesting!  When the going gets tough, the tough get going!  We need positive people to keep the energy and mood up in the office to keep moving forward in the face of obstacles.

Qualifications: 
  • Valid CNA, LPN or RN license in good-standing required
  • Previous Personal Care hands-on experience and/or training preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills required
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
