Experis Finance, in partnership with one of our clients in Northbrook, IL, has the immediate need for an Accounting Consultant. The duration of this engagement is approximately 4 months.
The accounting consultant will perform and supervise the accounting and reporting for various RE/LP (joint ventures, hedge funds, fund of funds, direct, REO, etc.) on a GAAP, Statutory, Pension Plan and Tax basis for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Review individual partnership results and trend analysis
- Prepare monthly GAAP rollforward analysis
- Review 10Q/K footnote disclosures schedules
- Review and process reporting
- Evaluate and implement RE/LP Accounting and Reporting Standards
- Monitor adherence and recommend improvements to internal controls including SOX
