ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES

(Other duties may be assigned as necessary)

Partner Relations

- Provides Partners technical training, coaching, and developmental opportunities.

- Provides performance feedback to Partners through fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.

- Supports a Positive Partner Relations environment by assisting Partners resolve their concerns.

- Becomes personally involved in each and every Partner injury.

- Initiates job requisition, sources and interviews candidates.

- Ensures that department or functional area is in compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance.

- Helps to create and Executes communication plan to share tactical and strategic plans and initiatives with Partners

Customer Service & Support

- Creates and executes the Partner's work schedule to ensure product meets customer demand in an effective and efficient manner.

- Notifies Partners of daily shift operational goals and gains their commitment.

- Stays abreast of the movement of product and makes adjustments to achieve targeted receiving and delivery schedules.

- Responds to customer inquiries through research and makes necessary corrections.

Expense Control

- Monitors productivity and throughput against goals and takes appropriate action to meet goals.

- Reviews daily work volume and balances staffing levels and overtime as necessary.

- Tracks damage to equipment and facility and takes appropriate action to control costs.

Warehouse Conditions & Sanitation

- Maintains a clean, safe, well organized, and pest free warehouse. Identifies, addresses, and resolves sanitation and safety issues.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION PREFERRED

- Bachelors Degree or 3-5 years related experience

- Basic working knowledge and compliance: industry, OSHA, EEOC, and Employment Laws

- Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills required

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated experience with presentations to subordinates

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and influence people and process situations.

- Demonstrated proficiency with operating internal and external software systems at an intermediate level; advanced knowledge of operations of departmental programs

- Attendance and completion of Leadership & Development Classes as assigned

- Working knowledge of department level reports

- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Able to work in multiple temperature zones

- Safely maneuver the facility without breaking OSHA regulations
