POSITION SUMMARY

Prepare computer-aided design (CAD) models using the Smarteam/CATIA V5 system. Prepare detailed and assembly drawings as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare design layouts, diagrams, bills of material, and schematics of component subgroups in support of the overall truck design, adequate for submittal to the appropriate engineering departments. Primary responsibility is the re-mastering of previous CAD drawings to the current CATIA V5 format.

Electrical schematics, electrical harness, and electrical assembly drawings.

Prepare detail drawings following Oshkosh Engineering Policies & Procedures.

Perform other engineering-related tasks as required by the supervisor, (i.e., manufacturing support, layout work, and contact suppliers for information).

Check work to insure the correctness of spelling, drawing format and organization, dimension and tolerance convention, and conformance with other governing Engineering Standards.

All other duties or projects as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Proof of current enrollment and completion of at least 6 months in an approved, Associate's degree program in Mechanical Drafting/Design or Electrical Design.

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during school year and full-time during summer/breaks.

Willing to travel to Oshkosh, WI.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Recent CATIA or Creo experience/training preferred.
