About this job
Patrols hospital buildings and grounds to detect or deter criminal activity and unsafe conditions. Responds to emergency situations, calls for service and other requests for assistance. Provides supports for safe and efficient parking and transportation services.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Associate's Degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice or high school and 3 years of relevant experience
Experience - At least 21 years of age with valid Michigan driver license
Licenses - Drivers License -- MI (MI DR LIC)*\\\\
Basic Life Support (BLS) Note used for BLS,CPR & BCLS)\\\180 Days\
First Aid - (FIRSTAID)\\\180 Days\
Preferred Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice or equivalent
Experience - 2 years of experience in an environment of comparable size and complexity,1 year of experience in as a Spectrum Health Security Officer,Law Enforcement Academy or Military (active duty) experience
Licenses - Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) certified or certifiable \\\
Medical First Responder (MFR) license \\\
