Sodexo Campus Services is seeking a motivated, sales driven and extremely outgoing food Retail Manager 2 for Adrian College in beautiful Adrian Michigan . Adrian College is a private, co-educational liberal arts college conferring Bachelor's degrees in 40 academic majors and programs. The college is located in the city of Adrian, Michigan , a drive of approximately 45 minutes northwest of Toledo, Ohio, or 45 minutes southwest of Ann Arbor or 90 minutes southwest of Detroit.
This position will oversee a multi faceted operation and will be specifically in charge of a full service WOW Cafe (www.wowcafe.com) located at the Arrington Ice Arena here on campus. Also they will have direct responsibilities for all operations at the Caine Student Center which includes a Grille, Zime, We Proudly Serve Starbucks, and new to come in Fall of 2015 a full service convenience store. We are looking for a team player who's ready to roll up their sleeves and become part of a great campus community and that is always striving for excellence. Needs to be availabe for 2nd shift.
The ideal candidate will have -
college/university retail food service management experience, experience managing multiple fast food service units, cash handling experience, experience leading and training a retail food service staff, experience with labor management systems.

Position Summary
Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
