Job Summary:
This position requires a commitment to managing all overall operations of the hotel and qualified candidates will need to possess the ability to drive revenue, control expenses, maximize profitability, deliver superior customer service and maintain excellent product quality.

Essential Job Functions:
Oversee Day-to-day operation of the Front Desk, Housekeeping, maintenance, and other key operating areas of the hotel.
Accurately execute all company and brand initiatives, policies and procedures with a continuous improvement in quality, service and operations.
Controls costs effectively to meet budget guidelines.
Develop and implement programs designed to improve the efficiency of the operation and which improve the service to our guests.
Train and instruct other members of the staff through the day-to-day training and sharing of knowledge and skills.
Ensure seamless communication to all employees and ownership.
Observe staff performance, and ensure compliance of all policies and hotel procedures.
Coach, counsel, and motivate all team members as necessary.
Ensures that all procedures and policies are in place and followed.
Initiates additional tasks to improve existing procedures and guest satisfaction.
Is proactive in identifying potential problems and implementing plans to ensure smooth operations
Initiates meetings with all departments.
Make recommendations for capital improvements to enhance the assets of the hotel and/or company and brand loyalty.
Foster positive owner relationships if applicable and assist in providing ongoing information and status reports.
Provide leadership to all employees and be available 24/7 as we never close.

Education and Experience:
Management/leadership experience preferred


Skills and Abilities:
Ability to lead people and get results through others.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pleasant and helpful personality.
Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
Skilled in driving top line revenues and overseeing operational and financial expenditures while maintaining exemplary customer service scores.
Ability to build and motivate team members at all levels, excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary to ensure the continued success of the hotel.
Exceptional leadership and team building skills and ability to develop people.
Exceptional skills in forecasting, revenue maximization, cost control, and planning.
Strong skills in employee and guest service training.
Must be results driven, with a passion to succeed.
Must be business savvy and self-motivated.
Ability to work without direct management.


Working Conditions:
Depending on business demands this individual may be asked to work additional hours, flexible schedule, and/or perform additional job responsibilities.
Will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, and pull throughout the shift.
