Accountant II Job - Full-time / Part-time

Accountant II needed for a contract hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in East Irvine, CA.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Three to five (3-5) years of work experience
- Experience within a Manufacturing environment
- Experience with Supply Chain / Inventory management
- Understanding of MRP and ERP
- Strong experience with Excel and pivot tables and Macros

What you'll be doing:

- Perform daily reviews and assessments of open purchase order and delivery commitments and work with Buyer / Planner in providing guidance on achieving cash flow / inventory objectives by product line
- Perform monthly assessment of SOP commitments and work with PL managers on inbound commitments and lead times to drive a control over inventory flow
- Perform spare part volume assessment, review inventory turns, failure history, and production availabilities of parts and work with Service Buyer/Planner for managing inbound spare part flow to achieve Service inventory level objectives.
- Work with materials management to forecast inventory levels for Raw Material, WIP, and Spare Parts along with days of coverage
- Prepare and implement inventory strategies using commodity codes, ABC classifications with risk and benefit analysis
- Work with finance and materials management to ensure alignment on monthly NPMR and MOR inventory reporting

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Three to five (3-5) years of work experience
- Experience within a Manufacturing environment
- Experience with Supply Chain / Inventory management
- Understanding of MRP and ERP
