Senior Public Relations Manager Job

Public Relations Manager needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Los Angeles, CA.

- The PR Senior Manager leads function and strategy by developing and managing an integrated communications strategy to inform, align and engage key stakeholders. The manager works collaboratively across internal and external to track opinions, decisions, and behavior of stakeholders to determine the impact of communication/engagement initiatives for future planning and strategy. The manager also coordinates on a global and local level for title-specific initiatives and business objectives. This role supports the brand marketing teams, as well as proactively identifies, prepares for and manages individual title brand reputation.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Media Relations
- Manage and develop relationships with business, consumer, and industry media (traditional and digital) to earn positive coverage
- Lead media/public relations efforts to proactively engage and build relationships with top tier media and other influencers across traditional and social media channels
- Propose, vet and coordinate with media and agencies on opportunities
- Monitor current industry trends in the press
- Partner with Development, Sales, Digital, and Marketing functions to effectively align PR programs with broader communication objectives
- Support the development of copy, and design for collateral materials, videos, advertising, and public-facing communication, such as news releases, media alerts and social media
- Manage third-party communication firms/agencies, and provide editorial review and oversight of all external communications projects and deliverables
- Create routine publications, media kits, and information packets as necessary
- Reporting on key performance indicators and creating a simple summary of results with recommended action items.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Minimum six - eight (6-8) years communications experience
- Must have working in a Gaming industry
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker with a track-record of success driving positive earned media in the press
- Knowledge and experience in communications principles, theory, planning processes, execution tactics and a variety of communications platforms (e.g.: print, digital, visual, verbal, social, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be an excellent team player
- Bi-lingual in Japanese language ability is a plus!

- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Must be able to work flexible hours and have the ability to travel
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
