Key Responsibilities


Safely operates stand-up and sit-down forklifts, motorized pallet jack, pallet handler, drum depalletizer, pallet jack, dollies, cargo elevator and carts to move bulk, packaging, hazardous waste, finished goods and other items as required. Manually stocks items following min/max guidelines in set locations to ensure correct amount of inventory is available for production without creating overstock situation. Follows housekeeping standards to comply with 5S. Communicates effectively and completely with team members and other employees as necessary. Follows all prescribed operating and equipment handling procedures with or without reasonable accommodation. Participates in 5S activities. Complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times. Performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

At least one year of directly applicable experience preferred.

Functional and Technical Skills

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Must be able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Must be able to read production schedules and labels. Must be able to safely operate manual material handling equipment and powered forklifts and pallet jacks with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be physically able to lift (infrequently) 70 lbs. Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license. Must be able to use and/or wear all required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation.
