SOFTWARE ENGINEER SUPPORTING THE FAA
Top Three Skills: Configuration Management, CM, JIRA, Atlassian, SW Build, systems administration, Adaptation Data Packaging, Scripts, Scripting, Automation Procedures, Problem Tracking Report (PTR), Linux, Unix, MySQL, C, C++, Java, Server, Database, NetworkThis person is working in close connection with the entire software development team in supporting systems analysis and sw development support activities.
Will be helping support SW development builds, Adaptation Data Packaging and other SW configuration management responsibilities.
a. Approximately 5-20 years of complete software development lifecycle experience
b. Software Language: strong working knowledge and experience with Java development along with a working knowledge of C, C++,
c. Familiarity with JIRA and Atlassian Tool-sets
d. Development in the Linux/unix environment
e. Knowledge of Data Base technology including MYSQL
f. Experience in App Server admin tasks.
g. Strong knowledge in Systems and Software Engineering
Additionally, the following skills(s) experiences are preferred:
a. Air Traffic Management (ATM) OR Air Traffic Control (ATC) software development
b. Software development for high availability/ high rel/ mission critical systems
c. Scripting language skills for automation, testing and documentation
d. Experience in a development environment that includes intensive CM tool use and database interaction
e. Prior System Adminstrator experience a plus
