We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our North Charleston, SC Salisbury Electrical Safety by Honeywell facility.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervises leads and team members in all ISC/Inventory, Distribution and Order Processing activities to achieve best-in-class processes and products. Utilize HOS techniques to meet or exceed HON metrics in safety, quality, productivity and delivery.

Direct, supervise and monitor activities of leads and team members to maximize productivity in the department.

Responsible for safety of personnel assigned. Instill "safety first" mindset within group. Lead HSE initiatives.

Ensure procedures are in place and being followed for production efficiency, quality, safety, and state/federal regulations and guidelines.

Prepare/coordinate work schedules and ensure key positions are adequately staffed. Evaluate targets, WIP, and distribution load for daily assignment of duties, adjustment as required.

Recommend improvements to processing methods, equipment performance and quality of product.

Encourage continuous improvement activities and seek opportunities and initiate action for process improvement. Serve as resource for Leads and team members to drive improvement opportunities.

Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.

Coach team on HON behaviors and metrics. Encourage/provide development opportunities.

Provide supervision in scheduling, ensuring effective selection, retention, feedback, disciplinary action and performance management. Coordinate with Leads to ensure proper orientation, assimilation and training of new team members.

Maintain time and processing records. Implement policies and procedures as they relate to employees.

Must have working knowledge of job functions within accountability.

Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced manufacturing concepts (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, TQM) and ERP systems.

Additional Qualifications:

Leadership and integrity; create an environment conducive to accomplishing metrics and objectives.

Familiarity with CMS ERP software a plus.

Strong presence on production floor continuously driving improvement.

Customer focus, internal and external.

Experience working in a functional organizational structure preferable.

Analytical problem solving ability, process oriented.

High level communication skills, written and verbal.

Ability to coach and motivate.

Proficient computer skills, including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

Excellent organizational skills.
