About this job
An Analyst, PBS is responsible for the construction and publication of Pilot/Flight attendant pairings in accordance with FARs, Pilot/Flight Attendant Working Agreements and company policy.
Principal Duties:
Construction and publication of Pilot/Flight attendant pairings in accordance with FARs, Pilot/Flight Attendant Working Agreements and company policy
Planner must balance budgeted cost constraints with quality of life issues
Coordinate with a variety of department to increase the efficiency of trip pairings, reduce crew costs and improve the operational reliability of crew pairings
Analyze future schedules and provide feedback on how to improve schedules to increase efficiency of crew pairings
Perform what-if analyses to assess impact of future business changes
Planner will also perform other scheduling related functions
Must be willing to work varied hours including weekends and holidays to meet all departmental, contractual and FAR requirements
Qualifications
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Prior Pairing production or PBS experience is highly preferred
Crew scheduling or Flight Operations experience is considered
Ability to work under pressure, perform independently and work well with other members of the team
Demonstrated abstract reasoning and critical thinking skills, ability to effectively analyze detailed information, must enjoy solving complex puzzles
Strong oral/written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with external and internal personnel
Must be computer literate, proficient in desktop computer skills and capable of learning new systems
Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Knowledge of Flight Crew Federal Aviation Regulation and Crew Working Agreement
