Job Description

Lead change to grow the size and scope a large Frito Lay traffic center.

Critical GES and core business experience in a new go-to-market environment.

Lead team of 2 front line Traffic managers and 40+ OTR drivers.

Responsible for people and team development, cost, service and safety performance for the entire business unit.

Develop individuals and the team to solve operational issues.

Motivate the team to achieve performance targets.

Organize and facilitate team meetings to achieve continuous improvement process.

Coach managers and team members to use the process and facilitate problem solving using CIBM venues.

Needs to provide support across the entire business unit, and ability to work approximately 55-60 hours per week.

Job level may vary based on experience.

Open to this position being located at any FLNA Chicago DC location

Key Responsibilities

Ensure front line managers and teams within the business unit are developed and accountable for achieving individual, team and business unit goals.

Deliver effective change leadership - driving business changes while minimizing people impact.

Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short & long term performance goals.

Communicate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues.

Motivate team members to achieve plan goals.

Organize and facilitate work team meetings (examples: Team meetings, QBR's, roundtables, etc.).

Work closely with suppliers and internal customers to deliver expected results

Administer policies and practices.

Initiate and implement projects.

Conduct presentations and formal training programs.

Ability to think quickly, creatively and challenge team to do the same.

Seek out and implement best practices.

Solve daily operational issues.
