Medical Publications Manager needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Ridgefield, CT.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Assists in the delivery of US-specific publication plans to support the Oncology and Respiratory Franchises
- Works closely with the Med Pubs SAD (Respiratory) and AD (Oncology) on all aspects of publication planning and delivery of publication plans
- Manages the review of non-US components of the global publication plan
- Manage supporting agencies in the tactical development of all publications deliverables
- Manages publications agencies through the effective use of project management skills to ensure the delivery of quality documents
- Interprets and monitors current and emerging clinical communication issues and guidelines and advises the US Product Team on these issues
- Ensures that statements and conclusions in publications are supported by appropriate data
- Assists in the maintenance of the EPD and other databases to ensure compliance with Publications Policies
- Proofs, edits and fact-checks, as appropriate, all publications deliverables (eg, manuscripts, abstracts, posters)
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- MS degree acceptable with significant experience
- In depth experience seven to ten (7-10) years in publication management
- Demonstrated budgeting and resource management skills
- Awareness of pharmaceutical business practices
- Knowledge of competitors and competitor products
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Therapeutic Areas of oncology and respiratory medicine a plus
- Clinical trial experience a plus
- Editor in Life Sciences (ELS) certification preferable
- CMPP certification a plus
- DataVision experience a plus
- Prior Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus
