General Laborer/Construction Laborer

Job Title: General Laborer/Construction Laborer

Location: Exton, PA

Aerotek is looking for a General Laborer/Construction Laborer for their international client who is in the building restoration industry. This position offers a lot of required overtime (60-70 hours a week)!

Job Description:

• Day to day responsibilities include performing property restoration services with a focus on water damage.
• Will report to the local office and go to job sites in the region.
• Very labor intensive, construction job that requires a lot of hours of work each week.
• Ripping up wet carpet one day, removing damaged furniture and sucking up water that is on the floor.
• Ready to work 60 to 90 hours a week if needed, be on a rotation for on call work and will be required to travel as needed for catastrophic losses.
• Will use computers to enter basic job/project information.

Qualifications:

• Background in either construction, carpentry, landscaping, custodial, or related experience preferred
• Basic computer skills- enter data in Excel and use copy & paste function
• Ability to lift 50 lbs at a minimum
• Ability to work a REQUIRED 60-90 hours/week (A lot of OVERTIME!!)
• Ability to work On-Call (Need to reside within 30 minutes of work location).
