Summary
The Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) is responsible to build and develop the leadership bench in their geographic assignment (OR, WA, MT, ID, WY, UT, NV, AK) through a focus on recruiting, selection, talent and performance management, training, and succession planning. The RHRM adds value by providing his/her unique perspective within each discipline to help the company strengthen capabilities, grow the business, and drive financial results.

Scope
  • Builds an external pipeline of leadership candidates
  • Actively engages in recruitment and interviewing primarily at the Store Team Leader level
  • Responsible for sourcing leadership talent throughout their region.
  • Partners with the District Team Leader to hire for new stores via internet postings, job boards, job fairs, direct sourcing, etc.
  • Partners with the RVP and DTLs to develop an internal and external pipeline of talent
  • Continuous improvement. Participate in RVPs meetings, HR planning sessions, etc.
  • Position will require travel within the region (OR, WA, MT, ID, WY, UT, NV, AK)
  • Must be willing to relocate to or be within three (3) hours driving of Portland, OR


Education Requirements
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field plus multi-unit experience
  • Preferred: Graduate degree, knowledge in labor law and SPHR


Experience
  • Minimum: 5 years of progressive leadership experience in training, development, and recruiting, multi-unit


Other Skills
  • Ability to travel overnight 3-4 days a week including some weekend travel.
