The Account Executive (AE) will have overall responsibility for exceeding client expectations of CVS Caremark services supporting health plans and employers. The position will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationship with key personnel and using those contacts to understand overall business objectives and help the Health Plan succeed and grow in the market. Understanding of these objectives is required to proactively recommend and promote Caremark products to serve as solutions to assist in meeting client business objectives. The AE is also responsible for the performance of contracted programs and services. The position will provide delivery and interpretation of financial and client reports, utilizing the suite of reporting capabilities available. The AE will oversee the coordination of program enhancements, business/product implementations, RFP responses, contract negotiations and approvals when appropriate, financial arrangements and operational support.

The AE will also have knowledge of all aspects of pharmacy management needed to retain and win new business, including, but not limited to, clinical programs, pricing, underwriting, guarantees, integration ability, and PBM services. The AE will work closely with the Health Plans Pharmacy Executives, Regional Pharmacy Directors and Account Executives. In the sales role, the AE may be required to attend onsite meetings between the Health Plan and their Groups/consultants/brokers. The AE will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Health Plans sales and account management staff. Support will include reviewing and providing input on marketing materials, including PBM's value story and sales presentations, as well as offering knowledge of competitive advantage and competitive intelligence. In addition, the AEs will provide support for requests for proposal ("RFPs"), requests for information ("RFIs"), and market surveys.

Position can be located in a hub or remote location with ability to travel up to 50%. Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of cumulative Account Management or equivalent client-facing experience within a healthcare environment Preferred Qualifications:

Consultative selling experience and RECAP/RxClaim platform proficiency desired, but not a must. Computer skills with background in use of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Additionally, qualified candidates must possess the ability to build solid relationships with clients' key decision makers to ensure a strong, cohesive business relationship is established and maintained. Ability to develop strong relationships with internal partners as well. Must be a self-starter, proactive and motivated, and exhibit accurate and solid judgment in handling complex and interpersonal issues. Must be able to set and meet multiple established goals and priorities, handle and meet deadlines and be flexible in a changing environment. Must be an effective communicator with strong presentation skills, creative and analytical, influential and demonstrate strength in networking internally and externally and possess keen negotiation skills. Knowledge of products and services along with the ability to learn quickly. Must possess ability to ask effective questions at all levels, internally and externally. Must be investigative, proactive with the ability to probe for answers. Must be able to research and sell through consultative, analytical and creative thinking. Operational savvy a significant plus.
