The Time Warner Cable Internship Program offers students a work experience which will create a bridge between their classroom knowledge and possible career choices. This opportunity will allow you to gain valuable professional experience within an industry leading company.
The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a NOC Intern for our Commercial/Carrier and Transport NOC. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with development and implementation of the ticket quality programAssist with preparation of QBR decks/materialsInput bulk loading of impacted circuit information in support of FCC reportingFollow-up on Problem Coded tickets with NOC Engineer oversightMonitor tickets requiring outage flag modifications in support of KPI MTTDOReview reports/trends for outstanding OPS Notices of non-compliant participantsMonitor center dashboards against 2,4,6,8 hour interval follow-upsSupport mentors and other leaders with tactical/day to day work outputs
Job Requirements:
We're looking for interns who have a technical acumen and want to learn more about engineering roles in a telecommunications company like TWC. Energetic, friendly, flexible, inquisitive, and hard working -- are character traits we're looking for.
Hours of operations will be Mon-Fri, Day shift - unless otherwise specified as weekend work
Education and Experience:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degreed program during the spring 2014 semester to be eligible.
This is a full time (40 hour work week) paid internship. Please note we do not provide housing.
