The Senior Manager, Sales Development will play a critical role in developing the strategy for packaging Maker Studios robust capabilities and crafting solutions to meet both Sales and Marketplace demands. The Sales Development Team will lead in the ideation and creation of strategic sales pitches, which include programming, branded entertainment, social platforms, influencers, their social graph and amplification opportunities, as well as media. Individuals are tasked with leading in the ideation and packaging of these solutions tied to key advertiser categories and reactive sales solutions mapped to advertiser inquiries.

The Senior Manager will be a part of a centralized team grounded in our Los Angeles office in Culver City. They will help with project assignments and pipeline management. Each regional team member is to ensure that sales has product ambassadors based in their respective region, able to attend client meetings, build strategic solutions (both proactive and reactive), share product insights and provide feedback to the appropriate channels when new opportunities are requested.

Responsibilities Generate ideas and package solutions for pre-sales pitches, for sales and advertisers, deeply rooted in storytelling and insights Create packages that encompass custom solutions, media and specialty tools/products, Own assigned projects and project manage, building necessary collateral and delivering in a timely manner Attend client meetings in partnership with Sales, serving as the Product/Marketing expert, presenting product insights, while receiving feedback firsthand and reporting back for production ideation Create new marketing opportunities, promotional ad products and sales materials, maximizing revenue potential through progressive digital advertising solutions Lead in crafting opportunities and material in collaboration with Programming, Branded Entertainment, Marketing/Social, Inventory, Pricing, Talent, Research and Planning. Handle vetting concepts and solutions with appropriate channels Basic Qualifications Minimum of 6+ years marketing/promotional experience, with 4+ years in a Digital setting preferred Excellent computer skills -- Highly proficient with Keynote, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (Photo Shop is a plus) Proven knowledge of video, social media & influencer landscape, digital marketing, and integrated digital campaigns A deep understanding of the sales and advertising landscape A deep understanding of marketing and packaging strategic solutions for brands Proven skills in problem solving, follow through, attention to detail and priority setting Proven track record in developing successful advertising, marketing or promotional campaigns Preferred Qualifications Polished interpersonal and communication skills A passion for creativity; the creative drive to develop rich, dynamic, and exceptionally effective advertising strategies Proven ability to adhere to a project plan to ensure that client commitments are delivered accurately, on time and within budget Ability to work in a matrixed environment Sharp business sense, resourceful, innovative and responsive to change Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and presentation skills Required Education BA/BS degree required (marketing, sales business, or related field preferred) Job Posting Industries Digital / Interactive Primary Location-City Culver City Primary Location-State CA Primary Location-Country US Auto req ID 263494BR
