JOB SUMMARY:
The Server's main role is to serve guests in a timely and orderly fashion in accordance with the 8-Key Points of Service.
The Golf Depot Server will be paid a minimum wage of $8.10 plus tips.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take orders and serve food & drinks;
Bus and set tables;
Run food & drinks to tables;
Collect money for food & drinks;
Clean tables and area around tables.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Guest food and drink orders are filled quickly and according to standards;
Rejects guest food and beverage if not up to house standards;
Daily cash receipts correspond to on-hand cash totals and credit card vouchers;
Assigned side work and closing duties completed daily;
Provide a positive experience and warm, friendly atmosphere for each guest, to insure customer return and satisfaction;
Personal appearance is kept neat, clean, and professional.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Able to operate computer register and make change;
Ability to stand during entire shift which can be a minimum of 6 hours and maximum of 10 hours;
Reach, bend, stoop, and wipe in conjunction with above responsibilities;
Ability to be exposed to potential injuries from broken glass, hot items, slippery surfaces, and falls associated with a fast paced environment;
Serve and carry meals and empty dishes to and from the tables to serve a minimum of four persons in one trip;
Ability to communicate effectively with customers by speaking clearly, listening and hearing customer requests or shouts for service or assistance;
Able to take order from customer and write it down for input into computer register;
Other duties as assigned.
OTHER EXPECTATIONS:
Experience helpful but not required;
Outgoing and friendly personality;
Neat and clean in appearance.
