Position Description
$15.63/hr SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive, analyze, and process reports of regulatory inspections for environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) compliance inspections at company facilities nationwide. Review submitted reports for completeness; contact facility personnel via phone and email to obtain additional information as needed. Determine corrective actions needed in response to inspections, and assign to appropriate corporate teams. Enter and maintain inspection information and corrective action assignments in enterprise information system. Review operating practices and procedures in order to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow or reporting procedures.Position requires strong customer service, as it involves extensive communication via phone to facility employees as well as face-to-face discussions with corporate personnel. Candidate must have ability to analyze and interpret submitted data, good problem solving skills, computer and data entry skills, and strong attention to detail. Work requires meeting deadlines for analysis, a great team interface and good interpersonal skills. Preferred applicant will have knowledge of EH&S issues, e.g., fire code, OSHA, hazardous waste, wastewater, drinking water, UST/AST tanks, storm water, etc.
