About this job

The Administrative Intern, in collaboration with the Manger of Education and VP of Human Resources works to support the staff certification documentation, educational programs and community education offerings available through OPMC and supporting entities. This position provides a wide variety of support including common administrative duties, maintenance of educational records and files, development and maintenance of training activities in our learning management system, scheduling rooms, scheduling classes, interaction with vendors, customer service and community relations. Primary interactions will be with the Manager of Education, the Educators, and the hospital staff. Other responsibilities include fostering good public relations, patient & employee satisfaction, and maintaining open communications with ancillary departments, physicians, and the public.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a degree seeking baccalaureate or higher program in the areas of:

-Healthcare Administration

-Nursing Education

-Nursing Administration

-Business Administration

Required Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience with ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office products including Excel spreadsheets, good communication skills, attention to detail
