Job Title:
Massage Therapist
I. Position Summary:
Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care and individualized care planning/implementation.
Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and licensed by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services as a Massage Therapist.
Current CPR certification.
B. Education: Certificate in Massage Therapy.
C. Experience: New graduates may be eligible for this position.
D. Special qualifications: Knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, techniques, and procedures used in massage therapy. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology sufficient to treat patients. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of computers is helpful.
