Job Summary:
The CNA works under the supervision of the RN, LVN, or physician, and assists in the delivery of direct patient care. The CNA performs various duties to assist the nursing and physician staff in the care and treatment of patients, in accordance with established policies and procedures, and unlicensed assistive personnel scope of practice.
Job Qualifications Include:
Demonstrated or tested ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
Previous experience as a CNA preferred. CNA experience in an acute care hospital highly preferred.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional CPR card.
Successful completion of the Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center CNA exam with a score of > 80%.
Successful completion of State of California CNA
