Parallon Business Solutions Richmond Shared Service Center is seeking a self-motivated individual for the position of Full Time Document Imaging Tech II. Work hours will include days with rotating weekends.
The Document Imaging Technician II is responsible for efficiently and accurately prepping, and/or indexing and quality checking documents from single or multiple hospitals into the document imaging system.
As a Document Imaging Tech II, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Meets with the HSC courier to receive and account for all boxes delivered
Unpacks all boxes, and sorts and measures the medical record according to established procedures
Prepares medical record documents prior to scanning, according to policies and procedures
Indexing duties to include verifying images are correct and legible, ensuring each scanned document is associated to the appropriate patient, account and type
Scans documents and assists with boxing of scanned documents

High School Diploma or Completed GED preferred
1 year of experience in an office environment preferred. Prior medical experience strongly preferred
