Tri-Star StoneCrest Medical Center is currently hiring for a Monitor Technician:
General Responsibilities include:
Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation system, and communicates to nursing staff and physicians on a regular basis
Provides continuous observation of telemetry monitors
Recognizes any arrhythmias
Answers telephone and public inquiries appropriately
Processes orders accurately
Conveys STAT orders to appropriate personnel immediately
Maintains par levels on supplies
Orients and mentors new staff members
Qualifications include:
Completion of telemetry monitoring/ arrhythmia
Successfully passes an arrhythmia interpretation examination annually
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
BLS certification
