CNC Machinist* - Full-time / Part-time

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist in Talladega, AL. This is a Temp-to-Hire position with a pay range of $18.00/hr and up depending on experience.

Qualified candidates must be able to work in non-climate controlled environment, stand for long periods of time, perform moderate lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, twisting. Candidates must also be detailed oriented, able to lift 50-75lbs repetitively throughout the day. Job duties and responsibilities vary.

Responsibilities include:
Reliably perform tasks associated with machining of parts in a job shop environment.
Proficiently run mills and lathes; conventional and CNC, to meet manufacturing schedules.
Perform in-process inspection to meet quality guidelines.
Write and/or edit CNC Programs.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Preventative Maintenance on equipment.

Requirements include:
5-10 years of machining experience.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Knowledge of inspection and measuring instruments.
MUST have own tools.
