About this job
We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician in Talladega, AL. This is a Temp-to-Hire position with a pay range of $16.00/hr and up depending on experience.
Qualified candidates must be able to work in non-climate controlled environment, stand for long periods of time, perform moderate lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, twisting. Candidates must also be detailed oriented, able to lift 50-75lbs repetitively throughout the day. Job duties and responsibilities vary.
Responsibilities include:
Assemble and disassemble a variety of mechanical equipment
Operate overhead cranes, pneumatic tools and torches.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with assemblies to meet manufacturing schedules.
Perform in-process inspection to meet quality guidelines.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Preventative Maintenance on equipment.
Requirements include:
3-5 years industrial equipment experience.
Knowledge of clearance and interference mechanical fitting practices.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Knowledge of inspection and measuring instruments.
MUST have own tools
