Experis Finance is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant for our client in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate will need to have both REIT and Tax Provision experience.
Our client has over $1 Billion in Revenue.
Job description:
This position will oversee the preparation of all REIT tax related compliance and assist with the quarterly and annual tax provision process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare quarterly and annual REIT compliance tests,
Identify potential issues and solve issues to ensure REIT compliance.
Manage the preparation and filing of the REIT federal and state tax returns.
Respond to federal and state information requests and notices.
Communicate with the accounting and legal departments to request and analyze tax information.
Assist in preparing the income tax provision and related tax footnote disclosure process.
Assist in transaction reviews when needed such as the review of leases and intercompany transactions.
Prepare spreadsheets and memoranda to analyze and present findings.
Assist with acquisitions including tax modeling.
Prepare E & P calculations
Other special projects as assigned.
