Cash Application Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Currently seeking an experienced Cash Applications Specialist to assist the Credit Analyst department with the following tasks:

Reconcile and balance daily bank deposits for several lockboxes
Accurately post all incoming cash receipts to the appropriate general ledger accounts: lock box, credit card, wires, EFT/ACH and manual deposits
Apply payments per customer remittances to include deductions, adjustments, charge backs and overpayments.
Enter all manual credits/debits, adjustments and journal entries to appropriate G/L accounts
Prepare and manage daily and month-end cash reporting
Maintain storage of daily AR transactions records into document management system

Qualifications:

***Highly proficient in Excel (v lookups, pivot tables, etc.)***

***Clear understanding of cash application and working with multiple G/L's***

***Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks***

***Attention to detail with string analytical and organizational skills***

***Knowledge of GAPP, Sarbanes Oxley, and experience with audits***
